Se trata de la primera victoria del ciclista alem\u00e1n desde el desgraciado accidente que casi trunca su carrera deportiva en la pretemporada de 2016, m\u00e1s ic\u00f3nica si cabe por cuanto la gran victoria de su vida deportiva fue precisamente una Par\u00eds-Roubaix anotada en 2015. Van Avermaet conserva el liderato y todos los favoritos salvo Rigo Ur\u00e1n (EF Education First), quien perdi\u00f3 un minuto, y Richie Porte (BMC Racing Team), quien abandon\u00f3, salen indemnes del temblor.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>169 ciclistas tomaron la salida en la novena etapa del Tour de Francia a las 12:50 desde Arras. S\u00f3lo una baja respecto a la etapa de ayer: Tony Martin (Katusha &#8211; Alpecin). S\u00f3lo hab\u00edan pasado 7 kil\u00f3metros cuando lleg\u00f3 la primera ca\u00edda significativa del d\u00eda, que forz\u00f3 el abandono de uno de los principales favoritos de la general, Richie Porte (BMC Racing Team), y de un gregario relevante, Jos\u00e9 Joaqu\u00edn Rojas (Movistar Team). Poco despu\u00e9s se form\u00f3 la fuga del d\u00eda, con Lilian Calmejane, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Cousin, Damien Gaudin (Direct Energie), Thomas de Gendt (Lotto-Soudal), Omar Fraile (Astana Pro Team), Reinhardt Janse van Rensburg (Team Dimension Data), Chad Haga (Team Sunweb), Olivier Le Gac (Groupama &#8211; FDJ) y Nicolas Edet (Cofidis). Intentaron estar en ella Dimitri Claeys (Cofidis) y Guillaume van Keirsbulck (Wanty &#8211; Groupe Gobert), pero no lograron contactar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De ca\u00eddas y pinchazos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Empezaron los 21,7 kil\u00f3metros de pav\u00e9 y, con ellos, el caos. La carrera se convirti\u00f3 en una ruleta rusa de ca\u00eddas y pinchazos que afectaron a favoritos de todo pelaje. Romain Bardet (Ag2r La Mondiale) pinch\u00f3 o cambi\u00f3 de bicicleta hasta en cuatro ocasiones: la \u00faltima, a la salida del \u00faltimo sector de pav\u00e9. Jakob Fuglsang (Astana Pro Team) lo hizo en el cuarto sector junto a Rafal Majka (Bora &#8211; Hansgrohe); volvieron al pelot\u00f3n sin problemas. Chris Froome (Team Sky) lo hizo en el octavo, Mons-en-P\u00e9v\u00e8le: tambi\u00e9n regres\u00f3 al grupo de favoritos sin problemas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La resoluci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A 35 kil\u00f3metros de meta, s\u00f3lo Reinhardt Janse van Rensburg (Team Dimension Data) y Damien Gaudin (Direct Energie) sobreviv\u00edan por delante y s\u00f3lo Romain Bardet penaba por detr\u00e1s. Fue en la aproximaci\u00f3n al tramo de Templeuve (Moulin de Vertain), und\u00e9cimo de la jornada, que se fueron al suelo Mikel Landa (Movistar Team) y Rigoberto Ur\u00e1n (EF Education First) y vieron pasar a Bardet desde la cuneta. El trabajo de los equipos espa\u00f1ol y estadounidense fueron intens\u00edsimos; s\u00f3lo los \u2018azules\u2019 tuvieron la recompensa de devolver a uno de sus l\u00edderes al grupo de favoritos, mientras los rosa ve\u00edan a su jefe de filas colombiano ceder 1\u201930\u201d. En la disputa por la etapa, el embravecido grupo de favoritos caz\u00f3 a los escapados a 19 de meta, justo antes del tramo de Camphin-en-P\u00e9v\u00e8le en el cual se march\u00f3 el tr\u00edo de Van Avermaet, Degenkolb y Lampaert a por la victoria dejando atr\u00e1s un pelot\u00f3n compacto de favoritos del cual s\u00f3lo escap\u00f3 un cuarteto en el que figuraba un \u00fanico hombre peligroso
