El gal\u00e9s rebas\u00f3 a 200 metros de meta al \u00faltimo superviviente de la escapada de la jornada, el navarro Mikel Nieve (Mitchelton &#8211; Scott), para conseguir un triunfo que lleva aparejado el maillot amarillo toda vez que el hasta hoy portador, Greg van Avermaet (BMC Racing Team), claudic\u00f3 antes del ecuador de la etapa. Tom Dumoulin (Team Sunweb) y Chris Froome (Team Sky), segundo y tercero en meta, se perfilan como los grandes favoritos a la victoria final en este Tour de Francia.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>165 ciclistas tomaron la salida en la und\u00e9cima etapa del Tour de Francia a las 14:07 desde Albertville. Pr\u00e1cticamente de pito atac\u00f3 Peter Sagan (Bora &#8211; Hansgrohe) para formar una fuga que le permitiera sumar puntos para la clasificaci\u00f3n de la Regularidad en el tempranero sprint intermedio de Villard-sur-Doron (kil\u00f3metro 11,5 de carrera). Se llevo consigo a Damiano Caruso (BMC Racing Team), Dani Navarro (Cofidis), Warren Barguil (Fortuneo &#8211; Samsic) y Romain Sicard (Direct Energie)\u2026 y empez\u00f3 la fiesta. Hasta cuarenta corredores anduvieron escapados por delante de un pelot\u00f3n siempre controlado por Team Sky, a quien no inquiet\u00f3 la presencia de Serge Pauwels (Team Dimension Data), 19\u00ba de la general a 5\u201912\u201d del l\u00edder Greg van Avermaet (BMC Racing Team).<\/p>\n<p><strong>El ataque de Valverde<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El l\u00edder de la Monta\u00f1a, Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step Floors), estuvo en la fuga y pas\u00f3 en primera posici\u00f3n por el Col du Pr\u00e9 antes de cortarse en el siguiente puerto HC, la Mont\u00e9e de Bisane. Fue en ella que Alejandro Valverde realiz\u00f3 su ataque en busca de la clasificaci\u00f3n general tras un tir\u00f3n de Movistar Team en cabeza del pelot\u00f3n. El murciano aprovech\u00f3 la presencia de Marc Soler en la escapada del d\u00eda para construir una ventaja de dos minutos que fue minada por la reacci\u00f3n de Bahrain &#8211; Merida, que arrebat\u00f3 el control del pelot\u00f3n a Team Sky para aplacar la agresividad del espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2026 Y el ataque de Dumoulin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fue bajando el Cormet de Roselend, pen\u00faltimo puerto de la jornada, que Tom Dumoulin (Team Sunweb) se destac\u00f3 con la inestimable ayuda de su gregario Soren Kragh Andersen. El neerland\u00e9s caz\u00f3 y rebas\u00f3 a un Valverde desfondado en la subida final a La Rosi\u00e8re mientras el grupo de favoritos adelgazaba ante el fuerte paso del Team Sky, que hab\u00eda reducido el pelot\u00f3n a diez ciclistas cuando, a cinco kil\u00f3metros de meta, dio v\u00eda libre para atacar a Geraint Thomas. Posteriormente, los cambios de ritmo de su compa\u00f1ero Chris Froome dislocaron la caza del resto de favoritos: Quintana, Bardet, Roglic, Nibali\u2026 quienes acabaron por ceder un minuto en meta. M\u00e1s perjudicados salieron Mikel Landa, que se dej\u00f3 1\u201948\u201d, o Rigoberto Ur\u00e1n, segundo clasificado del pasado Tour de Francia, quien perdi\u00f3 comba muy \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p><strong>DECLARACIONES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Geraint Thomas:<\/strong> \u201cEstoy muy feliz. Pase lo que pase de aqu\u00ed a Par\u00eds, ha sido un Tour de Francia exitoso para m\u00ed. No era el plan: ataqu\u00e9 por instinto. Sab\u00eda que Froome pod\u00eda seguir la rueda de quien hiciera falta y yo pod\u00eda llegar hasta la rueda de Dumoulin y aprovecharme de su ritmo. Ha sido una de las mejores etapas de mi carrera deportiva, sin duda. Ma\u00f1ana intentar\u00e9 disfrutar del maillot amarillo, sin m\u00e1s. Mantenerlo hasta Par\u00eds est\u00e1 muy lejos. Es la primera gran vuelta en la que disputar\u00eda la general durante tres semanas, as\u00ed que es territorio desconocido para m\u00ed. Me lo tomar\u00e9 d\u00eda a d\u00eda. Movistar ha demostrado mucha fuerza hoy. Tambi\u00e9n LottoNL; y lo mismo podemos decir de Dumoulin, Dan Martin\u2026 Hay mucha gente con capacidad y much\u00edsimo camino por recorrer hasta Par\u00eds, as\u00ed que puede pasar cualquier cosa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nairo Quintana:<\/strong> \u201cHemos querido \u2018jugar\u2019, pero la verdad es que no nos encontr\u00e1bamos como esper\u00e1bamos. Fue un ritmo muy duro todo el d\u00eda y hemos perdido unos segundos que espero no sean demasiados como para intentar seguir peleando por la carrera\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mikel Landa<\/strong>: \u201cSe me ha hecho dur\u00edsimo el d\u00eda. Me ha empezado a doler la espalda en el primer puerto y en esta parte final no pod\u00eda seguir el ritmo. Miraremos con nuestros m\u00e9dicos c\u00f3mo estamos y valoraremos los pasos a seguir. Hab\u00eda que intentar mover la carrera y lo que ha hecho Valverde ha provocado bastante da\u00f1o en la carrera.\u00a0Ahora tendremos que examinar las diferencias, descansar un poco y ver c\u00f3mo amanecemos ma\u00f1ana. Este \u00faltimo puerto tampoco era el m\u00e1s adecuado para Quintana o para m\u00ed, sino m\u00e1s bien para escaladores potentes como Geraint Thomas. Ma\u00f1ana tenemos un Alpe d\u2019Huez dur\u00edsimo, en una etapa tremenda, y habr\u00e1 que intentarlo y hacer una etapa dura\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Froome:<\/strong> \u201cEstamos en una posici\u00f3n incre\u00edble, no esper\u00e1ramos hacer lo que hemos conseguido en la etapa de hoy. Creo que al principio todos pensaron que Alpe d\u00b4Huez ser\u00eda el d\u00eda m\u00e1s decisivo, y no hoy. Nos pone en una situaci\u00f3n fant\u00e1stica. Fue algo que decidimos en el momento, pero ten\u00eda sentido, era perfecto. Ni siquiera ten\u00edamos que hablar, era lo correcto para Geraint, atac\u00f3 y sigui\u00f3 adelante. Dej\u00e9 que se fuera y que fuesen los dem\u00e1s quienes siguieran su rueda\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mikel Nieve:<\/strong> \u201cHa sido una l\u00e1stima no ganar porque quedaba muy poco para la meta, pero ya sab\u00eda que ven\u00edan por detr\u00e1s. Lo he intentando todo y ven\u00eda a tope, pero no ha podido ser. Una ocasi\u00f3n como \u00e9sta no se tiene todos los d\u00edas y habr\u00e1 que seguir intent\u00e1ndolo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jes\u00fas Herrada:<\/strong> \u201cEn la etapa del martes en Le Grand Bornand no pude coger la escapada y lo he vuelto a intentar y lo he conseguido, pero no ha podido ser. Hoy era el primer final en alto serio de este Tour de Francia para los hombres de la clasificaci\u00f3n general y cuando han acelerado poco se pod\u00eda hacer\u201d.<br \/>\n<span id=\"P3\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Julian Alaphilippe:<\/strong> \u201cYo sab\u00eda que no podr\u00eda aguantar toda la etapa delante. No obstante, quer\u00eda coger la escapada para rascar unos cuantos puntos para la clasificaci\u00f3n de la Monta\u00f1a. Era importante para m\u00ed mantener el maillot de puntos rojos, as\u00ed que me hace sentir contento haber coronado en cabeza el primer puerto. Despu\u00e9s, en la segunda, Barguil ha pedido a su equipo que endureciera el ritmo porque ha visto que pasaba un mal momento y me ha eliminado. Me ha costado un poco terminar la etapa.
