El vizca\u00edno fue el m\u00e1s fuerte en la decisiva ascensi\u00f3n a la C\u00f4te de la Croix Neuve, en la cual rebas\u00f3 al escapado Jasper Stuyven (Trek &#8211; Segafredo) y resisti\u00f3 el avance de Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step Floors). El pelot\u00f3n permiti\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 20 minutos a la fuga para realizar su propia ascensi\u00f3n hasta Mende, en la cual Primoz Roglic (LottoNL &#8211; Jumbo) dej\u00f3 muy buena sensaci\u00f3n y Geraint Thomas (Team Sky) mantuvo el maillot amarillo.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>152 ciclistas toman la salida en la decimotercera etapa del Tour de Francia a las 13:45 desde Bourg d\u2019Oisans. Los primeros kil\u00f3metros de la etapa estuvieron marcos por un fort\u00edsimo viento de costado que, sumado con el alto ritmo de quienes buscaban la escapada parti\u00f3 el pelot\u00f3n en cuatro grupos, en el \u00faltimo de los cuales estaba Mikel Landa (Movistar Team). En torno al kil\u00f3metro 15 se march\u00f3 una fuga de 32 ciclistas, a saber: Daniel Mart\u00ednez, Pierre Rolland (EF Education First), Simon Geschke (Team Sunweb), Gorka Izagirre, Kristijan Koren (Bahrain &#8211; Merida), Michael Hepburn. Daryl Impey (Mitchelton &#8211; Scott), Andrey Amador (Movistar Team), Damiano Caruso, Stefan K\u00fcng, Greg van Avermaet (BMC Racing Team), Julian Alaphilippe, Philippe Gilbert, Yves Lampaert (Quick-Step Floors), Peter Sagan, Maciej Bodnar (Bora &#8211; Hansgrohe), Omar Fraile (Astana Pro Team), Tom-Jelte Slagter, Julien Vermote (Team Dimension Data), Thomas de Gendt (Lotto &#8211; Soudal), Lilian Calmejane, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Cousin, Thomas Boudat, Sylvain Chavanel, Damien Gaudin (Direct Energie), Michael Gogl, Jasper Stuyven (Trek &#8211; Segafredo), Christophe Laporte, Nicolas Edet, Anthony P\u00e9rez, Anthony Turgis (Cofidis) y Thomas Degand (Wanty &#8211; Groupe Gobert).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Permiso del pelot\u00f3n y batalla<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La escapada cont\u00f3 con el visto bueno del pelot\u00f3n, que se reagrup\u00f3 y nunca estuvo interesado por disminuir una ventaja que lleg\u00f3 a los 20\u201900\u201d a 20 kil\u00f3metros de meta. La fuga, mientras tanto, discurri\u00f3 tranquila durante m\u00e1s de 100 kil\u00f3metros hasta que a -63km, en plena subida al Col de la Croix de Berthel (2\u00aa, -59km), atac\u00f3 Gorka Izagirre (Bahrain &#8211; Merida). El aceler\u00f3n del guipuzcoano provoc\u00f3 una selecci\u00f3n en la escapada y una serie de movimientos que terminaron con Tom-Jelte Slagter (Team Dimension Data) y Jasper Stuyven (Trek &#8211; Segafredo) llegando a su rueda. La entente dur\u00f3 hasta que, a 35 kil\u00f3metros de meta, el vigente campe\u00f3n de Espa\u00f1a y su compa\u00f1ero de fatigas neerland\u00e9s comenzaron a litigar. En ese momento, Stuyven aprovech\u00f3 para marcharse en solitario.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stuyven se funde<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El belga lleg\u00f3 al pie de la subida a la C\u00f4te de la Croix Neuve, 3 kil\u00f3metros al 10% de pendiente media que se coronaban a 1,5 kil\u00f3metros de meta, con 1\u201935\u201d de ventaja sobre un grupo perseguidor de 18 ciclistas. Desde la primera rampa se vio que pagar\u00eda los esfuerzos hechos en los 30 kil\u00f3metros anteriores. Mientras, en el grupo, Thomas de Gendt (Lotto &#8211; Soudal) era el primero en saltar en busca de su compatriota a 4,5 kil\u00f3metros del final. Sin embargo, bien pronto reaccion\u00f3 Omar Fraile (Astana Pro Team) para rebasarle. Fue a 600 metros de coronar que el vizca\u00edno super\u00f3 a Stuyven, que unos centenares de metros m\u00e1s adelante se encontr\u00f3 con la compa\u00f1\u00eda de Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step Floors), que hab\u00eda demarrado del grupo perseguidor a tres kil\u00f3metros de meta. Sin embargo, el d\u00fao no pudo hacer nada para neutralizar al ciclista espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roglic se destapa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La pasividad del pelot\u00f3n a lo largo de la jornada permiti\u00f3 que los favoritos vivieran su propia carrera en Mende. Mikel Landa (Movistar Team) movi\u00f3 el \u00e1rbol a 4 kil\u00f3metros de meta, pero fue Primoz Roglic (LottoNL &#8211; Jumbo) quien se destac\u00f3 con un demarraje que no pudo secar ni siquiera Team Sky. Por detr\u00e1s, Tom Dumoulin (Team Sunweb) rompi\u00f3 con un ataque a Romain Bardet (Ag2r La Mondiale) y se march\u00f3 junto a los brit\u00e1nicos Geraint Thomas y Chris Froome, que le acompa\u00f1aron hasta meta para cerciorarse que los dos primeros puestos que ocupan en la general no corr\u00edan peligro.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GALEIA DE Cuando Stuyven estaba delante ha hecho gala de mucha fuerza para mantener su ventaja mientras nosotros rod\u00e1bamos a tope en su busca. No me he atrevido a saltar a por Omar Fraile. Cuando he atacado era definitivamente un poco tarde\u2026 Pero no me arrepiento de nada porque no ten\u00eda las mejores sensaciones y Fraile estaba muy fuerte\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas:<\/strong> No sab\u00eda qu\u00e9 esperar de la subida de hoy, pero creo que podemos estar satisfechos con c\u00f3mo sali\u00f3.
