Se comenzaba con una zona repechera, un sube y baja constante que adelgaz\u00f3 al pelot\u00f3n y posterg\u00f3 la formaci\u00f3n de la fuga pese al s\u00f3lido intento de un tr\u00edo formado Warren Barguil (Fortuneo &#8211; Samsic), Adam Yates (Mitchelton &#8211; Scott) y Gregor M\u00fchlberger (Bora &#8211; Hansgrohe). Fue en el kil\u00f3metro 43 que se marcharon Daniel Mart\u00ednez (EF Education First), Silvan Dillier (Ag2r La Mondiale), Nikias Arndt (Team Sunweb), Am\u00e4el Moinard, Florian Vachon (Fortuneo &#8211; Samsic), Sonny Colbrelli, Ion Izagirre, Domenico Pozzovivo (Bahrain &#8211; Merida), Damian Howson, Daryl Impey (Mitchelton &#8211; Scott), Daniele Bennati, Imanol Erviti, Marc Soler (Movistar Team), Greg van Avermaet (BMC Racing Team), Niki Terpstra (Quick-Step Floors), Peter Sagan, Rafal Majka, Pawel Poljanski (Bora &#8211; Hansgrohe), Magnus Cort, Michael Valgren (Astana Pro Team), Serge Pauwels (Team Dimension Data), Arthur Vichot (Groupama &#8211; FDJ), Lilian Calmejane, Fabien Grellier, Romain Sicard (Direct Energie), Bauke Mollema, Julien Bernard, Toms Skujins (Trek &#8211; Segafredo) y Jes\u00fas Herrada (Cofidis).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los ataques de Calmejane, Terpstra, Grellier\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El pelot\u00f3n permiti\u00f3 felizmente que la escapada de 29 ciclistas consiguiera una ventaja que ray\u00f3 los 13\u201940\u201d al pie de la subida al Pic de Nore (1\u00aa, -41km), \u00faltima dificultad puntuable de la jornada. El grupo delantero vivi\u00f3 varios intentos de fuga. Lilian Calmejane (Direct Energie), que hoy corr\u00eda en casa, atraves\u00f3 en solitario el Col de Si\u00e9 (2\u00aa, -117km) antes de dejarse cazar por sus perseguidores. En su descenso intent\u00f3 marcharse varias veces sin \u00e9xito Niki Terpstra (Quick-Step Floors). S\u00ed lo consiguieron unos kil\u00f3metros m\u00e1s adelante Fabien Grellier (Direct Energie) y Julien Bernard (Trek &#8211; Segafredo), quienes llegaron al pie del Pic de Nore con 1\u201950\u201d sobre el resto de escapados. Fue al comienzo de dicha subida que se registr\u00f3 la \u00fanica escaramuza del d\u00eda entre los favoritos con el ataque de Dan Martin (UAE Team Emirates), que complet\u00f3 todo el puerto en solitario por delante del gran grupo y acab\u00f3 siendo absorbido al final del descenso.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Majka hace la selecci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nada m\u00e1s comenzar la subida al Pic de Nore demarraron los demarrajes. El m\u00e1s potente lo realiz\u00f3 Rafal Majka (Bora &#8211; Hansgrohe), que se march\u00f3 en solitario y coron\u00f3 con 30\u201d sobre un grupo de perseguidores que se conform\u00f3 en el descenso y conten\u00eda a Ion Izagirre, Domenico Pozzovivo (Bahrain &#8211; Merida), Magnus Cort, Michael Valgren (Astana Pro Team), Bauke Mollema, Toms Skujins (Trek &#8211; Segafredo) y Lilian Calmejane (Direct Energie). Le neutralizar\u00edan a 15 kil\u00f3metros de meta, cuando comenz\u00f3 la disputa por la etapa y una rueda de ataques en la cual se destacaron Izagirre, Cort y Mollema para jugarse la victoria No nos inquietamos cuando atac\u00f3 Dan Martin porque tenemos siete minutos de ventaja sobre \u00e9l.
