El italiano ha sido el m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido del primer sprint masivo de la carrera ante su compatriota Nizzolo y el campe\u00f3n del mundo Peter Sagan en una jornada de perfil quebrado donde varios cazaetapas han querido poner a prueba el pelot\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4289\" src=\"http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/0137b.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" srcset=\"http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/0137b.jpg 1000w, http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/0137b-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/0137b-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Los 176 corredores de La Vuelta deb\u00edan superar en esta jornada de m\u00e1s de 2.000 metros de desnivel positivo el primer puerto de 1\u00aa categor\u00eda de esta edici\u00f3n, el Puerto del Madro\u00f1o (kil\u00f3metro 45,6), con 20 kil\u00f3metros de subida, y el Puerto del Viento (3\u00aa categor\u00eda) en el kil\u00f3metro 85 de etapa, para luego afrontar unos kil\u00f3metros llenos de trampas por las carreteras malague\u00f1as donde los valientes pod\u00edan intentar evitar el sprint.<\/p>\n<p>Nans Peters (Ag2r-La Mondiale), Pierre Rolland (Education First-Drapac), Jordi Sim\u00f3n (Burgos-BH), Antonio Molina (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), H\u00e9ctor S\u00e1ez (Euskadi-Murias) y un Luis \u00c1ngel Mat\u00e9 (Cofidis) que ha ampliado su margen en el liderato de la clasificaci\u00f3n de la monta\u00f1a han formado el grupo de escapada del d\u00eda, teniendo una ventaja m\u00e1xima de 4:05, pero r\u00e1pidamente el equipo del l\u00edder, Team Sky, y el del ganador de etapa, Quick Step, han apostado por controlarles y les han reducido la ventaja.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4290\" src=\"http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/a458c.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" srcset=\"http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/a458c.jpg 1000w, http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/a458c-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/a458c-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La situaci\u00f3n estaba bajo control en los \u00faltimos 50 kil\u00f3metros, pero un contraataque desde el pelot\u00f3n con Alexis Gougeard (Ag2R La Mondiale), Lukas P\u00f6stlberger (Bora-hansgrohe), Jelle Wallays y el campe\u00f3n europeo de crono, Victor Campenaerts (Lotto-Soudal) a 43 kil\u00f3metros de meta ha dado un nuevo empuj\u00f3n al grupo, que ha obligado al pelot\u00f3n a emplearse a fondo para alcanzarlos. El catal\u00e1n Jordi Sim\u00f3n (Burgos-BH), el m\u00e1s combativo de la etapa, ha protagonizado dos fuertes ataques, y finalmente ha sido el campe\u00f3n austr\u00edaco P\u00f6stlberger quien m\u00e1s ha resistido en cabeza, siendo atrapado a 7 kil\u00f3metros para la meta por un pelot\u00f3n donde comandaba Movistar Team.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, nada ha podido evitar un sprint donde se ha impuesto el corredor m\u00e1s laureado de la temporada, un Elia Viviani que con la de hoy ya suma 16 victorias durante su campa\u00f1a 2018. Muy bien lanzado por Michael Morkov, el campe\u00f3n italiano ha podido batir a Giacomo Nizzolo (Trek-Segafredo) y al campe\u00f3n del mundo Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe). Los aspirantes a la general tambi\u00e9n han entrado en el pelot\u00f3n, permitiendo al polaco Michal Kwiatkowski (Team Sky) vestir el maillot rojo durante una jornada m\u00e1s, antes de una llegada No tengo palabras para el equipo, porque ser el m\u00e1s fuerte siempre es dif\u00edcil. Nadie ten\u00eda corredores para tirar. Solamente Sky ha controlado antes de la primera subida larga y nosotros solamente ten\u00edamos a Pieter Serry y Kasper Asgreen para tirar todo el d\u00eda. Es muy dif\u00edcil controlar etapas como esta, pero realmente la dese\u00e1bamos. Es lo que hace diferente este equipo, cuando todo el mundo se compromete por un solo objetivo. No sab\u00edamos si pod\u00edamos ganar o no, porque hab\u00eda m\u00e1s de 2.000 metros de ascensi\u00f3n acumulados. No ha sido tampoco un sprint f\u00e1cil, pero estoy muy contento de poder continuar con esta temporada impresionante. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n es mi primer triunfo en La Vuelta despu\u00e9s de acabar dos veces segundo, y estoy realmente contento con ello\u201d<br \/>\nMichal Kwiatkowski (Sky), l\u00edder: \u201cEs bueno haberme poder mantenido en cabeza del pelot\u00f3n, sin problemas. Ha sido un final muy nervioso, con muchos intentos de fuga, rotondas, curvas y peque\u00f1as subidas. Estaba controlando a Alejandro Valverde porque s\u00e9 que quiere vestirse con la roja. He tratado de estar detr\u00e1s suyo y no dejar que tomara ninguna bonificaci\u00f3n. Al final ha sido una etapa bonita y debo felicitar a Elia Viviani y todo Quick Step porque han trabajado muy duro durante todo el d\u00eda. No s\u00e9 mucho de la subida de ma\u00f1ana. Tendremos que saberlo gestionar con el equipo. Es solamente la primera semana, es dif\u00edcil de predecir. Debemos ser inteligentes con el equipo y concentrados para intentar mantener el maillot. Como siempre he dicho, soy flexible y afronto La Vuelta d\u00eda a d\u00eda, pero en las subidas es algo en lo que realmente estoy trabajando para mejorar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Molina, al frente de la fuga \u00a9 G\u00f3mez Sport<br \/>\nAntonio Molina: \u201cHa sido una etapa bastante dif\u00edcil por el viento, que nos ha impedido rodar c\u00f3modos durante todo el d\u00eda, as\u00ed que hemos buscado nuestro ritmo y ver hasta d\u00f3nde pod\u00edamos llegar. La entrada de los cuatro de atr\u00e1s ha vuelto a dar vida a la fuga e incluso hemos tenido esperanzas de poner en jaque al pelot\u00f3n. Era un d\u00eda marcado para el sprint, pero esto es La Vuelta y siempre hay excepciones, hay que buscar algo diferente. Ayer no fui todo lo bien que me hubiera gustado; en cambio hoy me he encontrado bastante mejor rodando todo el d\u00eda en la escapada\u201d.<br \/>\nAlejandro Valverde: \u201cEstaba bien colocado m\u00e1s que nada para evitar las ca\u00eddas, nada m\u00e1s; ni mucho menos era mi intenci\u00f3n buscar la victoria. Me he sentido bien, aunque haya sido un d\u00eda de mucho, mucho calor. La subida de ma\u00f1ana en Alfacar no puedo decir que me venga mejor que la de ayer\u2026 porque si ayer gan\u00e9, no puede ser mucho mejor para m\u00ed, pero desde luego, no me va nada mal\u201d.<br \/>\nNairo Quintana: \u201cHa sido un d\u00eda sin contratiempos. La idea era pasar adelante en ese descenso final para evitar el peligro y luego ir m\u00e1s atr\u00e1s en el sprint.
