El franc\u00e9s ha logrado imponerse en solitario en un final nervioso, con el Alto de Ceal coronado a 12 kil\u00f3metros, en cuyo descenso ha perdido 25 segundos el polaco Michal Kwiatkowski, lo que ha permitido a Rudy Molard (Groupama-FDJ) ampliar su ventaja en cabeza de una clasificaci\u00f3n general que lidera ya por tercera jornada consecutiva.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Desde los primeros compases de etapa se ha destacado una fuga con Alexis Gougeard (Ag2r La Mondiale), Michael Woods (Education First-Drapac), Floris De Tier (LottoNL-Jumbo), Nicola Conci (Trek-Segafredo), Edward Ravasi (UAE Team Emirates), Alex Aranburu (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA) y \u00d3scar Rodr\u00edguez (Euskadi-Murias), que eran controlados por Groupama-FDJ y el Bora-hansgrohe de Peter Sagan en todo momento, sin dejarles alcanzar mucho m\u00e1s de 3 minutos de ventaja.<\/p>\n<p>En la aproximaci\u00f3n al segundo de los dos puertos puntuables de la jornada, un Alto de Ceal (3\u00aa categor\u00eda) que se promet\u00eda decisivo al coronarse a 12,7 kil\u00f3metros de la l\u00ednea de meta, incluso el equipo Movistar Team se ha puesto a trabajar para dejar a los siete fugados a menos de un minuto cuando se alcanzaran los kil\u00f3metros definitorios para la resoluci\u00f3n de la etapa. Michael Woods (Education First-Drapac) ha probado de resistir en solitario, pero ha sido neutralizado a pocos metros de coronar el alto.<\/p>\n<p>Ha sido especialmente a partir de su descenso y los posteriores repechos cuando se ha roto la carrera. En primer lugar, por numerosos percances mec\u00e1nicos (uno de Nairo Quintana, que finalmente ha podido solventar, otro de Dan Martin, y tambi\u00e9n del segundo clasificado en la general, un Michal Kwiatkowski que ha acabado cediendo 25 segundos y su posici\u00f3n de privilegio). Y, posteriormente, por los numerosos ataques que han reducido al grupo del l\u00edder a solamente 30 unidades.<\/p>\n<p>Lo han probado, en primer lugar, Lluis Mas (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), despu\u00e9s el ex campe\u00f3n de Espa\u00f1a Jes\u00fas Herrada (Cofidis), y por \u00faltimo, el movimiento que ha marcado la victoria de etapa ha sido el de Tony Gallopin (Ag2r La Mondiale), que ha saltado del pelot\u00f3n para alcanzar a Herrrada bajo la pancarta de los \u00faltimos 2 kil\u00f3metros dos kil\u00f3metros, dejarle atr\u00e1s justo despu\u00e9s y acabar imponi\u00e9ndose en solitario en Pozo Alc\u00f3n, con 5 segundos de ventaja sobre un grupo del l\u00edder donde el campe\u00f3n del mundo Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe) y el nuevo segundo clasificado de la general, \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><strong>DECLARACIONES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><strong>Tony Gallopin<\/strong> (Ag2r La Mondiale), ganador de la 7\u00aa etapa de La Vuelta: \u201cGanar una etapa en La Vuelta era uno de los objetivos del equipo. La idea tambi\u00e9n era la de hacer una buena clasificaci\u00f3n general, pero si hab\u00eda la oportunidad de ir a por una victoria de etapa, deb\u00eda aprovecharla. He tenido muy mala suerte esta temporada, pero el equipo ha confiado en m\u00ed para La Vuelta y esta es la mejor manera de agradec\u00e9rselo. Los \u00faltimos 20 kil\u00f3metros han sido muy dif\u00edciles. Eran carreteras estrechas y t\u00e9cnicas. Hemos visto ca\u00eddas, ataques por los favoritos\u2026 Me he mantenido bien posicionado y he esperado al mejor momento para atrapar a Herrada y contraatacar. Ha sido fant\u00e1stico. Ganar por delante de corredores como Sagan o Valverde es algo importante. Desde el inicio de carrera me he notado con buenas piernas. He perdido peso y he entrenado en alto, y probar\u00e9 de hacer una buena clasificaci\u00f3n general. No tengo nada que perder, y si acabo cediendo, luchar\u00e9 por otra victoria de etapa\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alejandro Valverde:<\/strong> \u201cLo mejor del d\u00eda ha sido sin duda no tener percances, porque el final, como ya se ha visto, era bastante complicado. En general el asfalto estaba muy mal, aunque en los \u00faltimos kil\u00f3metros ya era mejor. En uno de los descensos hemos pasado de una zona rugosa a otra de mejor asfaltado, nos hemos confiado, alguien ha arriesgado un poco y se ha producido una ca\u00edda. Un corredor de Sky se ha ido al suelo antes del pen\u00faltimo repecho, los tres siguientes han ido detr\u00e1s y yo, que era el cuarto, he tenido la suerte de no caer. A partir de entonces he \u2018respetado\u2019, no he arrancado hacia adelante y solo he buscado coger la bonificaci\u00f3n. Es una pena porque a nivel deportivo nunca quieres que un rival que est\u00e1 disputando las primeras posiciones contigo, como Kwiatkowski, salga de ellas por un percance as\u00ed. Por lo dem\u00e1s, ha sido un recorrido dur\u00edsimo; ya me hab\u00edan advertido que ser\u00eda complicado, pero ha resultado m\u00e1s duro de lo que pensaba. D\u00edas c\u00f3mo este ir\u00e1n haciendo mella y eso se acaba notando. Me he sentido muy bien, en buena forma. Estoy contento con el resultado, a pesar de que haya entrado por detr\u00e1s Sagan en el sprint. Sinceramente pens\u00e9 que no estaba, solo he visto que iba en nuestro grupo cuando me ha rebasado en la llegada. \u00bfGallopin? No puedo controlarlo todo, eso est\u00e1 clar\u00edsimo. De momento hoy hemos cogido 2\u2033 en una bonificaci\u00f3n, 4\u2033 en meta\u2026 ha sido un d\u00eda bueno y esperamos seguir as\u00ed. \u00bfDisputar la general? Hay que esperar. Queda mucho. Vamos poco a poco\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rudy Molard (Groupama-FDJ):<\/strong> \u201cAl final, ha ido bien para m\u00ed. El final se adaptaba a mis caracter\u00edsticas y me sent\u00eda con confianza. El ritmo era muy alto y cualquier cosa pod\u00eda pasar. Hemos visto c\u00f3mo Kwiatkowski ca\u00eda, muchos ataques\u2026 Aunque tuviera buenas piernas, ha sido dif\u00edcil. Nos mantendremos en la misma t\u00e1ctica. Hoy hemos estado todo el d\u00eda en cabeza, lo que me ahorra energ\u00edas y ayuda a proteger a Thibaut (Pinot). Con el fuerte ritmo de Bora, era mejor estar bien colocado. Esperemos que las cosas sean m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles ma\u00f1ana, aunque no hay un d\u00eda f\u00e1cil en La Vuelta. Tenemos que tomarnos las cosas d\u00eda a d\u00eda e intentar disfrutar de esta maillot. Mis compa\u00f1eros han hecho un trabajo incre\u00edble y tenemos que mantenernos con esta mentalidad. El domingo en La Covatilla, intentar\u00e9 aguantar. Es un final bueno para Valverde e imagino que intentar\u00e1 ir a por la roja\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alex Aranburu<\/strong>: \u201cEst\u00e1 siendo una Vuelta bastante dura por el calor y por el ritmo, pero hoy estando en la fuga pens\u00e1bamos que hab\u00eda opciones de llegar.
