El XXXIV Campeonato Panamericano de Ruta revel\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles a sus primeros campeones, tras correrse las pruebas de contrarreloj individual en las categor\u00edas elite y sub 23 de mujeres y hombres.<\/p>\n<p>La estadounidense Leah Thomas fue la protagonista principal de la jornada al recorrer los 22 kil\u00f3metros con un formidable tiempo de 28 minutos, 19 segundos y 883 mil\u00e9simas, para superar a su compatriota Neben Amber y a la chilena Costanza Paredes, sus acompa\u00f1antes en el podio de premiaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las menores de 23 a\u00f1os se impuso la trinitaria Teniel Campbell con crono de 30 minutos, 40 segundos y 631 mil\u00e9simas, mejor tiempo que el de la costarricense Jennifer Morales y la cubana Heydi Praderas, medallistas de plata y bronce, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>Los hombres de la categor\u00eda elite tuvieron como campe\u00f3n al colombiano Brandon Smith, quien al terminar los 33 kil\u00f3metros de recorrido reflej\u00f3 un tiempo de 00:54:10.321 minutos, mejor crono que el del chileno Jos\u00e9 Rodr\u00edguez y el mexicano Ignacio de Jes\u00fas Prado, plata y bronce en ese orden.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los hombres menores de 23 a\u00f1os se impuso el chileno Diego Ferreyra con un tiempo de 00: 41:10.375 minutos. Las preseas de plata y bronce fueron para el ecuatoriano Alexis Benjam\u00edn Quinteros y el hondure\u00f1o Luis Enrique L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n<p>Este jueves, en el contexto del panamericano de ruta 2019 tendr\u00e1 lugar la Plataforma UCI para los entrenadores del continente.
