El galo bati\u00f3 a sus compa\u00f1eros de aventura al sprint y rompi\u00f3 a llorar, embargado por la emoci\u00f3n de dedicar la victoria a su padre, fallecido el pasado 27 de junio. La victoria comporta asimismo el maillot amarillo para \u2018Loulou\u2019, toda vez que Alexander Kristoff (UAE Team Emirates) lleg\u00f3 muy descolgado a meta. Pr\u00e1cticamente desde el banderazo de salida se destac\u00f3 un grupo de ocho corredores con Peter Sagan, Lukas P\u00f6stlberger (Bora-Hansgrohe), Beno\u00eet Cosnefroy (Ag2r La Mondiale), Kasper Asgreen (Deceuninck-Quick Step), Toms Skujins (Trek-Segafredo), Matteo Trentin (CCC Team), Anthony P\u00e9rez (Cofidis) y Michael Gogl (NTT Pro Cycling). Tras pasar en primera posici\u00f3n por Lac du Broc (SI, km 16), Trentin se vio descolgado de cabeza de carrera debido a un problema mec\u00e1nico, quedando as\u00ed conformado un septeto que har\u00eda camino.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9365\" src=\"http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8b15e.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8b15e.jpg 1000w, http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8b15e-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/arciclismo.com.ar\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/8b15e-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Traves\u00eda por los Alpes Mar\u00edtimos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Los escapados se dispusieron a afrontar los puertos de la jornada perseguidos por un pelot\u00f3n en el cual UAE Team Emirates marcaba un ritmo sostenido, registr\u00e1ndose una ventaja m\u00e1xima de 3\u201955\u201d en el kil\u00f3metro 93 de etapa. En el Col de La Colmiane (1\u00aa, km 63,5), Cosnefroy fue el primero en coronar por delante de P\u00e9rez gracias a un ataque a un kil\u00f3metro de la cima. En la siguiente subida, el Col de Turini (1\u00aa, km 99,5), P\u00e9rez logr\u00f3 cambiar las tornas. Fue en esas rampas que Sagan cedi\u00f3 y regres\u00f3 a la disciplina del pelot\u00f3n. En el pelot\u00f3n, mientras tanto, Alexander Kristoff (UAE Team Emirates) se descolgaba a cinco kil\u00f3metros de la cima y perd\u00eda de esta manera sus opciones de retener el maillot amarillo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jumbo-Visma ejerce de patr\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Perdido el inter\u00e9s de UAE Team Emirates por marcar el ritmo, Jumbo-Visma asumi\u00f3 el mando de la carrera. El trabajo de los neerlandeses, sumado a la cooperaci\u00f3n puntual de EF Education First, neutraliz\u00f3 a los seis escapados al pie del Col d\u2019\u00c8ze (2\u00aa, km 153), en torno al kil\u00f3metro 146 de carrera. Franqueada sin mayor novedad esta \u00faltima subida puntuable, un grupo de favoritos ya bastante diezmado atraves\u00f3 por primera vez la meta de Niza (-17,5km) antes de dirigirse al Col des Quatre Chemins (PB, km 177). En el primer kil\u00f3metro de ascensi\u00f3n arrancar\u00eda Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-Quick Step), a quien se unir\u00edan escalonadamente Marc Hirschi (Team Sunweb) y Adam Yates (Mitchelton-Scott). Pero he seguido trabajando duro, tambi\u00e9n en los momentos dif\u00edciles que me ha tocado vivir. Esta victoria es para mi padre [fallecido el pasado 27 de junio]. Hab\u00eda pedido a Devenyns endurecer en el Col d\u2019\u00c8ze y despu\u00e9s Jungels ha hecho lo propio al pie de la \u00faltima ascensi\u00f3n para que yo diera el m\u00e1ximo hasta la cima. Ha costado hacer hueco, pero con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Marc Hirschi y Adam Yates lo hemos logrado. Hemos logrado mantener la ventaja hasta el \u00faltimo kil\u00f3metro y una vez ah\u00ed hemos especulado, pero he logrado imponer mi punta de velocidad. Estoy acostumbrado a la presi\u00f3n, pero reconozco que me ha venido bien la victoria. Echaba de menos ganar. Est\u00e1 bien conseguir adem\u00e1s el maillot amarillo. Es prestigioso, es m\u00edtico. No me imaginaba volver a vestirlo despu\u00e9s de haberlo llevado tantos d\u00edas el a\u00f1o pasado, y lograrlo ya en la segunda etapa es incre\u00edble\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marc Hirschi<\/strong>. \u00abReconozco que estaba un poco enfadado en meta, porque estuve muy cerca de ganar y no lo consegu\u00ed. No obstante, me siento orgulloso de haber estado luchando por la victoria en mi segunda etapa en el Tour de Francia. Mi compa\u00f1ero Nicholas Roche ha sido b\u00e1sico, porque conoc\u00eda de memoria todas las subidas y me ha dado muy buenos consejos. Cuando ha atacado Alaphilippe, he tenido que darlo todo para llegar a su altura. Me ha venido bien ponerme a su rueda, \u00a1pero casi reviento! Despu\u00e9s, colabor\u00e9 con \u00e9l y con Yates todo lo que pude. Fue dif\u00edcil manejar la presi\u00f3n de los \u00faltimos metros, con la victoria de etapa y el maillot amarillo en juego. Estaba situado a la perfecci\u00f3n a rebufo de Alaphilippe, pero no pude superarle en el sprint final. En todo caso, estoy orgulloso de mi actuaci\u00f3n. Mi equipo Team Sunweb y yo hemos venido pensando en buscar victorias de etapa, pero aun as\u00ed defender\u00e9 este maillot blanco de mejor joven. Ya he conseguido un \u00e9xito mayor del que esperaba; quiero disfrutarlo y seguir dando el m\u00e1ximo d\u00eda a d\u00eda\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-container__main\">\n<section class=\"subscription\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"social social--lg is-alignCenter\">\n<p><strong>Adam Yates<\/strong>. \u00abMe fui con Julian Alaphilippe y Hirschi y luego comenzamos a trabajar en el descenso. Hubo un viento en contra en la parte final y no fue nada f\u00e1cil. En el desenlace, nunca iba a ganar el sprint, ellos eran m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos que yo, pero estar tercero en la 2\u00aa etapa es para estar bastante contento. Tal vez si hubiera habido otra subida qui\u00e9n sabe, pero como dije, en un sprint con ellos dos, en este tipo de meta, siempre iba a terminar segundo o tercero.
