En la lucha por la victoria parcial, Nans Peters (Ag2r La Mondiale) se impuso como el m\u00e1s fuerte de una escapada de trece corredores doblegando a Ilnur Zakarin (CCC Team) y alz\u00f3 los brazos en la meta de Loudenvielle 48\u201d antes de que la franquearan Toms Skujins (Trek-Segafredo) y Carlos Verona (Movistar Team). En la contienda por la general, Adam Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) sufri\u00f3 para mantener el maillot amarillo mientras el esloveno Tadej Poga\u010dar (UAE Team Emirates) aprovechaba la subida al Col de Peyresourde para alardear de calidad escaladora y hacerse con 40\u201d de renta sobre el resto de favoritos al podio de Par\u00eds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>172 corredores tomaron la salida en la octava etapa del Tour de Francia 2020, con un recorrido previsto de 141 kil\u00f3metros entre Caz\u00e8res-sur-Garonne y Loudenvielle, a las 13:36. Fue en el cuarto kil\u00f3metro que se form\u00f3 una escapada de trece corredores con Beno\u00eet Cosnefroy, Nans Peters (Ag2r La Mondiale), Michael Morkov (Deceuninck-Quick Step), Neilson Powless (EF Education First), Carlos Verona (Movistar Team), Toms Skujins (Trek-Segafredo), Ilnur Zakarin (CCC Team), Ben Hermans (Israel Start-Up Nation), J\u00e9r\u00f4me Cousin, Fabian Grellier (Total Direct Energie), Soren Kragh Andersen (Team Sunweb), Quentin Pacher y K\u00e9vin Reza (B&amp;B Hotels-Vital Concept). Cousin fue el primero en pasar por Sengouagnet (SI, km 42,5), mientras Cosnefroy blind\u00f3 su liderato en la clasificaci\u00f3n de la Monta\u00f1a coronando antes que nadie el Col de Ment\u00e9 (1\u00aa, km 59,5). En la aproximaci\u00f3n al Port de Bal\u00e8s (HC, km 104,5), Cousin se march\u00f3 en solitario. Sin embargo, una vez en la subida, r\u00e1pidamente se destacaron Peters y Zakarin, quienes\u00a0hollaron la cima\u00a0del puerto juntos con 30\u201d sobre Powless, Skujins, Verona y Kragh Andersen. Mientras tanto, en el pelot\u00f3n, el ritmo de Jumbo-Visma provoc\u00f3 el desfallecimiento de Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ), quien se vio eliminado de la pelea por la general.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Criba de Dumoulin y exhibici\u00f3n de Poga\u010dar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00eda en el descenso de Bal\u00e9s que Peters descolgar\u00eda a Zakarin, infligi\u00e9ndole 55\u201d de diferencia. En el Col de Peyresourde (1\u00aa, km 129,5), el ruso lleg\u00f3 a situarse a s\u00f3lo 10\u201d del galo antes de claudicar definitivamente. En el pelot\u00f3n, fue Tom Dumoulin (Jumbo-Visma) el encargado de romper la baraja despu\u00e9s de que un ataque de Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-Quick Step) a 18 kil\u00f3metros de meta abriera las hostilidades. La criba del neerland\u00e9s fue aprovechada por Tadej Poga\u010dar (UAE Team Emirates): su primer ataque lo anularon Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) y Nairo Quintana (Ark\u00e9a-Samsic), pero el segundo a apenas cuatro kil\u00f3metros de coronar no tuvo oposici\u00f3n. A su espalda, el maillot amarillo Adam Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) hac\u00eda la goma mientras el vigente campe\u00f3n Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers) se parapetaba en el ritmo de su compa\u00f1ero Richard Carapaz. \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p><strong>DECLARACIONES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><u>Nans Peters:<\/u><\/b>\u00a0\u201cEsto es una locura.\u00a0<b>Ya fue incre\u00edble ganar una etapa en mi primer Giro de Italia, como hice el a\u00f1o pasado, y ahora he vuelto a conseguir lo mismo en el Tour de Francia<\/b>. Me convenc\u00ed a m\u00ed mismo para no venirme abajo.\u00a0<b>En la bajada del Port de Bal\u00e8s vi que Zakarin bajaba como una cabra y eso me dio confianza<\/b>\u00a0de cara a batirle en meta. No llevaba pinganillo, as\u00ed que s\u00f3lo pod\u00eda informarme mirando a mi espalda. La etapa ha sido muy dura. Dejamos irse la escapada porque el hombre mejor situado en la general estaba muy lejos, as\u00ed que nos ven\u00eda bien y era f\u00e1cil de controlar.\u00a0<b>En la parte final lleg\u00f3 un momento dado en que el ritmo era muy alto<\/b>, hab\u00eda ataques por doquier y\u00a0<b>tuve que levantar el pie para no cebarme en exceso<\/b>. Me recompuse y poco a poco regres\u00e9 al par del resto de favoritos. Trat\u00e9 de ir a lo m\u00edo y logr\u00e9 estar con los mejores\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMa\u00f1ana ser\u00e1 otra etapa dura.\u00a0<b>Espero evitar problemas y mantener el maillot amarillo. Creo que todo el mundo ha ido hoy al l\u00edmite<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Egan Bernal:<\/u><\/b>\u00a0\u201c\u00bfDecepcionado con la etapa de hoy? Para nada.\u00a0<b>Creo que ha sido un muy buen d\u00eda para m\u00ed. La carrera se hizo muy r\u00e1pida, y eso es bueno<\/b>. La \u00faltima subida en particular se hizo a un ritmo muy alto.\u00a0<b>Estoy contento de haber podido coronar con el resto de favoritos, de haber podido salvar el d\u00eda y demostrar que estoy ah\u00ed con los mejores<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJumbo-Visma est\u00e1 muy fuerte. El ritmo que pusieron en la pen\u00faltima subida y toda la bajada con Van Aert fue muy exigente. Incluso la primera parte de la \u00faltima subida fue bastante dura.\u00a0<b>Roglic es uno de los rivales m\u00e1s fuertes, pero tambi\u00e9n Poga\u010dar est\u00e1 fenomenal\u2026 y est\u00e1n ah\u00ed Quintana, L\u00f3pez, Ur\u00e1n\u2026<\/b>\u00a0Hay un grupo muy grande en punta, registrando unos datos impresionantes. Va a ser una carrera abierta y muy interesante\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<b>Hay muchos colombianos en los primeros puestos de la general, y eso es bueno y bonito para mi pa\u00eds<\/b>.
