El colombiano Miguel \u00c1ngel L\u00f3pez (Astana Pro Team) fue el m\u00e1s fuerte en los dur\u00edsimos kil\u00f3metros finales del Col de la Loze de M\u00e9ribel, alz\u00e1ndose con la victoria parcial y subi\u00e9ndose al podio provisional con una c\u00f3moda ventaja sobre sus ahora perseguidores. En la pelea por el maillot amarillo, fue su portador Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) quien ofreci\u00f3 un mayor nivel que su joven rival Tadej Poga\u010dar (UAE Team Emirates), doblegado a 2 kil\u00f3metros del final.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>152 corredores tomaron la salida en la decimos\u00e9ptima etapa del Tour de Francia 2020, con un recorrido previsto de 170 kil\u00f3metros entre Grenoble y M\u00e9ribel Col de la Loze, a las 12:30. No tomaron la salida J\u00e9r\u00f4me Cousin (Total Direct Energie), fuera de control ayer; Stefan K\u00fcng (Groupama-FDJ); ni, la gran noticia del d\u00eda, el campe\u00f3n saliente Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers). La escapada estuvo muy disputada y no se defini\u00f3 hasta el kil\u00f3metro 30, cuando el impulso de Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-Quick Step) sirvi\u00f3 para que el galo se despegara definitivamente del pelot\u00f3n junto a Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers), Lennard K\u00e4mna (Bora-Hansgrohe), Gorka Izagirre (Astana Pro Team) y Dan Martin (Israel Start-Up Nation). Trat\u00f3 de unirse a posteriori Daryl Impey (Mitchelton-Scott), pero su intento se demostr\u00f3 infructuoso y acab\u00f3 regresando al pelot\u00f3n pacificado por Jumbo-Visma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bahrain-McLaren hizo la carrera<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alaphilippe fue el primero en pasar por el sprint intermedio de La Rochette (SI, km 45,5), en el cual su coequipier Sam Bennett volvi\u00f3 a ampliar su renta en la clasificaci\u00f3n por Puntos sobre Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) y Matteo Trentin (CCC Team). La escapada registr\u00f3 su ventaja m\u00e1xima sobre el pelot\u00f3n en el kil\u00f3metro 90,5 de etapa, justo al pie del Col de la Madeleine: 6\u201900\u201d. En este punto, el equipo Bahrain-McLaren se puso en cabeza del pelot\u00f3n para marcar el ritmo, dejando el grupo de favoritos reducido a una treintena de ciclista y provocando la explosi\u00f3n de Nairo Quintana (Ark\u00e9a-Samsic), que se desped\u00eda as\u00ed de su puesto en el top10 de la general. Descolgado K\u00e4mna durante la ascensi\u00f3n, ser\u00eda Carapaz el primero en coronar el Col de la Madeleine (HC, km 107,5), con el grupo conducido por Bahrain-McLaren pisando los talones de la escapada 1\u201925\u201d m\u00e1s tarde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Batalla en el Col de la Loze<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dan Martin se despidi\u00f3 de cabeza de carrera en el descenso de La Madeleine. Los tres escapados restantes se entendieron bien para llegar al pie del definitivo Col de la Loze con una ventaja de 2\u201900\u201d sobre un grupo de favoritos en el que Bahrain-McLaren segu\u00eda desgastando a sus rivales. Carapaz se quedar\u00eda solo en cabeza de carrera a 9 kil\u00f3metros de meta con apenas 18\u201d de ventaja sobre los hombres de la general, ventaja que hizo crecer hasta los 45\u201d en un imp\u00e1s previo a los temibles cinco kil\u00f3metros finales. En ellos acelerar\u00eda David de la Cruz (UAE Team Emirates), preparando el terreno para Tadej Poga\u010dar. A 3 del final, un grupo formado por Poga\u010dar, Primoz Roglic, Sepp Kuss (Jumbo-Visma), Richie Porte (Trek-Segafredo), Miguel \u00c1ngel L\u00f3pez (Astana Pro Team) rebas\u00f3 a Carapaz. Poco despu\u00e9s, \u2018Superman\u2019 se marchar\u00eda en solitario a por la victoria. A su espalda, Roglic y Poga\u010dar se batieron en un duelo del que saldr\u00eda vencedor el maillot amarillo, que dio un paso de gigante hacia la victoria en la general del Tour de Francia. No fue f\u00e1cil llegar. Hoy tuve confianza porque me sent\u00ed en mi h\u00e1bitat. A 2000 metros sobre el nivel del mar me siento como en casa. Mi equipo y yo siempre hemos estado presentes, luchando por puestos de honor. Hemos so\u00f1ado mucho con este momento y nadie perdi\u00f3 la f\u00e9 para luchar d\u00eda tras d\u00eda. Mis compa\u00f1eros hicieron un trabajo perfecto de principio a fin, se dejaron la piel en el camino, en particular Omar Fraile que me sorprendi\u00f3 en la subida al Col de la Madeleine. Nos merecemos esta victoria. Se lo dedico a mi esposa y a mi hijo, porque es dif\u00edcil encontrarme lejos de ellos, es la parte m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de mi trabajo\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_273770\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\">\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>PRIMOZ ROGLIC<\/strong>. \u00abNo creo que la carrera est\u00e9 sentenciada. Todav\u00eda quedan etapas muy duras y Tadej Poga\u010dar es un gran escalador. Hoy me he encontrado muy bien en la subida, pero los cuatro o cinco kil\u00f3metros finales no se pueden comparar con ninguna otra ascensi\u00f3n. Me alegro de haber superado esta etapa, de dejarla ya atr\u00e1s. Sepp Kuss y yo hablamos durante la subida y decidimos que intentara ir a por la victoria de etapa, porque siempre podr\u00eda levantar el pie y ayudarme en caso de necesidad. Adem\u00e1s, los dem\u00e1s saldr\u00edan a por \u00e9l y eso me permitir\u00eda ver qui\u00e9n sufr\u00eda. El ataque de Kuss me se\u00f1al\u00f3 d\u00f3nde atacar yo. En esta subida, cada metro cuenta; tener su ayuda fue un detalle clave. Ha sido una gran actuaci\u00f3n, suya y de todo el equipo. \u00bfQue si estoy feliz con la ventaja que tengo sobre Poga\u010dar? \u00a1Nunca es suficiente ventaja! Ya sabes: cuando tienes algo, siempre quieres m\u00e1s. Pero estaba feliz con la ventaja que ten\u00eda, y ahora estoy m\u00e1s feliz todav\u00eda. Mi club de fans est\u00e1 siguiendo la carrera en directo desde la etapa de la Grand Colombier. Estos \u00faltimos d\u00edas he visto much\u00edsimas banderas de Eslovenia en la carretera, durante toda la etapa. Esto siempre da un punto extra, es una sensaci\u00f3n \u00fanica. Espero que en Eslovenia est\u00e9n orgullosos de nosotros\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>TADEJ POGA\u010cAR<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00abHe perdido algunos segundos hoy. Las rampas eran verdaderamente brutales. Lo he hecho lo mejor que he podido, y es verdad que he cedido respecto a Roglic y L\u00f3pez, pero no creo que haya sido un mal d\u00eda. Esto no ha terminado: ma\u00f1ana hay otra etapa dif\u00edcil. La batalla va a ser dura, y puede que incluso pierda mi puesto en el podio. Pero, en todo caso, voy a intentarlo [asaltar el primer puesto en la general] hasta el final\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LANDA<\/strong>. \u00abMe he desinflado en la parte final y no solo no he podido con el Jumbo-Visma, tampoco con el resto. No he tenido el mejor d\u00eda, y hoy era el d\u00eda clave. Hab\u00eda que probar con cualquier sensaci\u00f3n que fuera teniendo. Cuando tiraban Pello y Caruso a m\u00ed me estaba costando seguirles, pero tambi\u00e9n piensas que los dem\u00e1s lo van pasando mal. Hab\u00eda que intentarlo. El podio es complicado, pero la etapa de ma\u00f1ana, despu\u00e9s de la fatiga de hoy, puede ser ca\u00f3tica. Veremos qu\u00e9 pasa. Es complicado\u00bb. \u00a9EFE<\/p>\n<p><strong>KUSS<\/strong>. \u00abTrat\u00e9 de quedarme con Miguel \u00c1ngel L\u00f3pez, pero era demasiado fuerte. Estaba por encima del l\u00edmite, opt\u00e9 por ayudar a Roglic. All\u00ed trat\u00e9 de ganar velocidad en su favor para distanciar a Poga\u010dar. Esper\u00e1bamos algo as\u00ed, equipos que quer\u00edan ganar la etapa o subir al podio. El ritmo de Bahrein McLaren fue muy alto. Ellos hicieron un gran trabajo. Incluso recorrieron los primeros quince kil\u00f3metros de la subida final. Me quito el sombrero ante ellos, porque esa subida fue un verdadero infierno\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RIGOBERTO UR\u00c1N<\/strong>. \u00abHoy ha sido una etapa realmente complicada y la parte final ha sido dif\u00edcil pero hice lo que siempre he hecho, dar todo hasta la l\u00ednea de llegada. Perdimos un poco de tiempo pero seguiremos luchando hasta el final, como siempre\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUINTANA<\/strong>. \u00abFue uno de los d\u00edas m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de mi vida. Pas\u00e9 la etapa atr\u00e1s. Sufr\u00ed mucho, pero es un d\u00eda que tambi\u00e9n nos dar\u00e1 lecciones, porque nunca es tarde para aprender. Tengo dolor, pero tambi\u00e9n represento a un gran equipo, grandes socios en este Tour de Francia: Ark\u00e9a y Samsic. Es el orgullo lo que me impulsa, aunque todav\u00eda me duela.
